Jason Adams
Jason AdamsPresident
Jason is accountable for leading all Ni2 revenue cycle services development & client services delivery. Prior to forming Ni2 Health in 2016, Jason served as the Chief Operations Officer for Resolution Consulting, Inc. Jason’s early career started in the clinical setting as a Paramedic for a busy metropolitan EMS Provider in the greater Boston area. Jason subsequently held many leadership roles within the hospital environment, including President of a subsidiary company, Vice President, Director and Manager in the areas of Emergency Services, Patient Access, Corporate Compliance, Patient Financial Services, Payer Contracting, Health Information Management, Coding and Financial Reporting as well as global revenue cycle for multi-billion dollar health systems. Jason has led many revenue cycle performance improvement engagements for clients’ nationwide. His experience is within all segments of healthcare from small critical access hospitals, free standing community hospitals, large IDNs and academic medical centers. A brief list of accomplishments include the following:
  • Accelerated over $25 million in cash within a 7 month engagement during a full HIS conversion engagement.
  • Facilitated a complete Revenue Cycle redesign for a $1.5 billion health system while increasing the organizations overall net to gross and decreasing the systems cost to collect from 1.8% to 1.6%.
  • Lead and facilitated numerous HIS {EPIC} Revenue Cycle Risk Mitigation initiatives for pre and post-live conversions.
  • Increased net yield for a critical access facility by greater than 3% in a 12 month period through process optimization while leveraging the clients current patient accounting platform.

Jason holds an MBA with a Healthcare Concentration from Rivier College Graduate School of Business. Jason is a Board Certified Healthcare Executive and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Ron Kero
Ron KeroChief Development Officer
Ron has infused the mindset of the entrepreneur into his thirty-five years of wide-ranging healthcare leadership and management experience, spanning consulting, hospital operations, business development & sales, and new venture start-ups.  Currently, Ron is Chief Development Officer and co-founder of Ni2 Health, a national full services revenue cycle company which has developed an industry leading specialization in charge capture optimization for hospitals and healthcare organizations of all sizes. Prior to Ni2, Ron was Vice President of Shared Solutions for Vizient, with accountability for developing innovative shared services programs and business assets that unlocked hidden operating margin opportunities for its member hospital organizations. Ron also managed a Vizient subsidiary company which created a large portfolio of programs which delivered over $1B in new operating margin for its member hospitals. Previously Ron was also a co-founder of MedCath and Vice President of Business Development for Carolinas Healthcare System.

Ron has a passion for leveraging the experiences of his journey to serve as an advisor to fellow entrepreneurs, healthcare start-ups, and anyone committed to solving the challenges of bringing innovation to healthcare systems. He and his wife Ana reside in Bluffton, SC and enjoy their children and grandchildren in Houston. Ron has been a lifelong soccer player, continues to play in occasional soccer tournaments around the country, and is passionate Seattle Sounders fan. Ron is also an active board member for the Wharton Healthcare Alumni Association.

Alex Muckenthaler
Alex MuckenthalerVice President
Alex leads Ni2’s revenue cycle services team which is accountable for the largest portfolio of client RCM assessments and engagements. Alex oversees client services delivery for end-to-end revenue cycle services, including charge capture optimization, inpatient revenue optimization, chargemaster maintenance, strategic pricing, price transparency, billing & AR follow-up services and commercial contract renegotiation. Prior to Ni2, Alex was an EMR consultant and Charge Services Knowledge Lead at Cerner. Alex also has a BA in Business Administration and is a certified Project Management Professional. Alex’s unique combination of technical abilities and revenue cycle expertise has allowed him to guide successful revenue cycle engagements for healthcare organizations ranging from critical access hospitals to very large multi-facility health systems.
Anthony Amaya
Anthony AmayaVice President
Anthony is responsible for leading revenue cycle engagements as well as technology development and delivery at Ni2 Health. Prior to joining Ni2 Health in 2017, Anthony served in Healthcare Economics and Payor Contracting at Scripps Health. Anthony’s early career began in Strategy Consulting for a wide variety of clients ranging from consumer packaged goods to furniture as well as medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Anthony then focused his consulting expertise on Healthcare Revenue Cycle Consulting where he has served Hospitals, Physician Groups, Ancillary Providers, Payors, and Employer Groups through revenue cycle operational improvements, EMR conversions and optimizations, negotiations, strategic advisory, as well as health plan and benefit designs. In addition to his Revenue Cycle Consulting experience, Anthony has served directly with Healthcare Systems in Corporate Finance, Strategy and Analytics, Healthcare Economics, and Payor Contracting. He has also directly managed Accounts Receivable and Credit Strategy. Throughout his career, Anthony has been dedicated to improving operations and growing revenue for healthcare systems.

Anthony has led many revenue cycle engagements for clients nationwide and is experienced with all segments of healthcare providers ranging from critical access hospitals to large IDNs and academic medical centers. Anthony holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management as well as a BBA from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Anthony is also a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative.

Tayler Searfoss
Tayler SearfossVice President of Business Development
Prior to joining Ni2 Health in 2021, Taylor served as Regional Sales Director for AccuReg Software. As a Sales Director, Taylor consistently led the sales team as a top producer & exceeded company goals. Taylor’s focus on ensuring sales strategy alignment with overarching business goals has resulted in considerable increases in productivity, company revenues, client satisfaction, and employee engagement. Taylor brings a critical eye to redefining company sales management processes, with an emphasis on cultivating partnerships between the companies and organizations he works closely with.

Taylor has a broad healthcare background with deep experience spanning administration, sales, leadership, and marketing. His wide-ranging knowledge, especially in sales and management positions, has allowed him to become a key asset within growing organizations. Taylor began his healthcare career in revenue cycle services for mid-size hospitals, and subsequently leveraged his provider operations experience to move to the vendor side of revenue cycle with Zelis Payments.

Taylor holds his CHFP certification through the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and has a Master of Science degree in Public Health Administration from Meharry Medical College, located in Nashville, Tennessee. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Middle Tennessee State University. Taylor also continues to extend his industry contributions, holding leadership & board positions across multiple professional organizations and their state chapters.

In his spare time, Taylor holds a longtime passion for training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and travels to multiple games every year with his family.

Scott Cook

Scott is a seasoned healthcare executive with a passion for driving organizational growth and community impact. With over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, Scott has consistently demonstrated a knack for developing and executing strategic initiatives that elevate patient care and strengthen healthcare systems. Currently, Scott is Vice President of Business Development for Ni2, a national full services revenue cycle company which has developed an industry leading specialization in charge capture optimization for hospitals and healthcare organizations of all sizes.

Throughout his career, Scott has been committed to fostering collaboration and driving positive change within the healthcare landscape. Prior to Ni2, Scott served as the Market Director of Network Development and Rural Health Services at CHI Health, overseeing critical access hospital networks across multiple states, and as the President & Chief Executive Officer at Thayer County Health Services. Additionally, as a Network Development Consultant at CHI Health, he played a pivotal role in forging strategic partnerships and implementing cost-effective solutions to support rural hospitals. Scott dedicates his free time to community service, with his involvement with the Nebraska Rural Health Association, where he serves as a Board Member, and with his volunteer work with the American Red Cross.

Scott’s diverse background coupled with hands-on experience in healthcare operations, has equipped him with a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of the intricacies and sensitivities of the industry. Scott and his wife Kelsey reside in Omaha, NE where they enjoy caring for their black lab Evie, and two cats, Kristoff and Finn. Scott is an avid Iowa Hawkeye sports fan taking multiple trips back to Iowa City each year.

Jennifer Wexler

Jennifer joined Ni2 in 2019 when Ni2 acquired Eris Medical Technologies. Jen is responsible for leading the continuing development of the Ni2 charge capture technology platform, is a skilled clinician and is a nationally recognized thought leader for hospital charge capture optimization, including methodologies, correct coding, claim & medical record review & related CDM management.

Jen previously was a co-founder of Eris Medical Technologies in 2007, a specialized company helping hospitals & healthcare organizations optimize their charge capture activities. With Eris, she led the design, development & maintenance of a market leading charge capture technology software platform which continues to benefit many hospitals nationally. As a charge capture expert, Jen authored several whitepapers, and has been a frequent conference speaker on charge capture related topics such as “common CDM pitfalls”, “industry-standard charge capture models” & other middle revenue cycle topics. She also served as an RCM consultant to Eris hospital charge capture software clients, increasing net revenues by 2% – 5%. Jen also managed middle revenue cycle engagements including CDM, charge capture, pricing reimbursement & clinical operational audit reviews.

Prior to Eris, Jen established Revenue Integrity departments for several hospitals and was a national consultant for Deloitte Consulting where she helped clients strategically improve revenue cycle operations & bottom line net revenue improvement.
